Hi all. Pretty excited for this car, as I'm sure most of you are as well. I was able to get in touch with my local dealer, and they assured me they don't mark up their cars, and additionally, I'm the first person to contact them regarding the GR Corolla, and am first in line. Pretty sweet!

I've owned several fun cars, including a 2004 WRX STi, a 1991 Miata, a 2014 Fiesta ST, a 2013 BRZ, a 2017 WRX STi, a 2016 Fiesta ST, and currently am driving a 2017 GTi. I really enjoy the GTi, as it is a nice blend of daily driving and performance, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the AWD in the winter months. Of the cars I've owned, I think the BRZ was the most fun, however, having a kiddo makes a two door car difficult, and I'm currently not in a position to have two cars.

I'll be lurking around, learning what I can. Good luck to everyone trying to get one at a reasonable price!

No. I bought it used. I have a track record as of late not keeping vehicles as long as I should, so this GR Corolla would be my first new car in awhile. I'd probably have kept my 2004 WRX STi if it weren't for the deer I hit and/or my BRZ if it weren't for having a kiddo. The 17 WRX STi didn't give me the same warm fuzzies that the 2004 one did. I don't know, maybe I'm just getting old. Haha.
