Hey all, figured I'd post a quick intro like everyone else waiting around for this car. I'm an old Toyota fan that left the brand for awhile until the FRS/GT86/BRZs came out at which time I bought the first BRZ in the Tampa area.. since then I've owned.. hmm.. I dunno like 10 or 12 of them or something. I, along with another buddy, buy wrecked ones and rebuild them for street and track vehicles. I'm also an old school Honda guy. Not into drag racing or car shows but used to autocross a lot and still do HPDEs and endurance road racing (ChampCar). If anyone here does HPDEs in Florida with Chin Motorsports you've probably seen me a few times in one of the cars below or one of my track cars I've sold.

Current car list:
1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo
1994 Toyota MR2 Turbo
2013 Scion FR-S (dedicated track car/backup race car)
1993 Honda Civic (ChampCar race car)
2 2005 Acura TSX (daily beater and a salvage titled parts car)
1998 Acura Integra Type-R (dedicated track car)
2004 GMC Sierra 2500 8.1L
2001 Corvette Z06
And I guess legally a 2013 Subaru BRZ until I get the title fixed to sell it to a buddy we built it for.

Looking forward to getting back into a fun to drive hot hatch so hoping the GR Corolla will be it.. of course with markups and low production I probably won't buy one until 2025 lol Hell it look like it's going to take a full year to get my new truck delivered with all the current production issues. Bah.

Welcome aboard! It's definitely going to be hard to get a GRC with talks of only 90 cars for a region of 112 dealers in 3 months for when they first release

Yeah I'm sure as hell not expecting to buy one in the first year. I refuse to pay markups of any sort and I highly doubt, in the current climate, any dealers are selling even at MSRP. I really wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't settle down to decent pricing until the 2025 model year. I'm not exactly in a rush anyways.

But at least I'll be able to see what others are doing with theirs and see how much aftermarket support comes out for these... luckily the GR Yaris has a decent amount and obviously some of that will apply to the GR Corolla as well.
