I am currently driving a 2011 MK6 GTI. I have basically done everything I want to it and I love driving this thing. I do hate the FWD life, but love how torquy this car is.
I am super pumped for the GR Corolla. I have a deposit in one of the bigger dealers in my area, and I am going to go for a Circuit Edition in the signature colour.
Looking forward to some AWD shenanigans and looking forward to tracking this car.

Looking forward to see your GRC !
From the few answers I've got asking around at 4 dealerships, was encouraged to look for other cars . Most cars will be sold to dealer owners and family, employees and friends , and public and media personalities for publicity mostly - then, if any left overs available(probably without difs and so) will have tens of thousands in markups . About the same BS that happened in UK with GRY.

Mark-ups aren't allowed where I live, and I am hoping people here aren't as excited about it as I am.

Crossing my fingers.

Luckily in Canada, in the province of Ontario, dealers are required to sell brand new cars for the MSRP price (as per OMVIC). I am not sure how many allocations will be set aside for family and celebrities, but I am #1 in my dealer, and I have a deposit down so I hope that means I have a fighting chance.

London, ON
Better check with them, even if you are in a big province it might ended up zero

Hey Gazoo,
I just checked in with my dealer, and they told me they have no exact numbers yet. They are a "Premium" dealer because of the number of cars they sell. So hopefully I won't be left empty-handed.

Gotcha.. Yeah probably Collingwood and Clarington are not "Premium" dealers
For reference I am in Ottawa, all 3 dealers said they wouldn't get anything, Most, if not all, are going to Toronto and GTA.

So I sold my GTI a little over a week ago and am driving a 1992 Toyota Paseo now. Not going to lie when I say that was a tough sale as I really loved that car. But, I am gearing up for the GR Corolla, saving up for a phatttt deposit. Nonetheless, I can't wait for an exciting car again. The Paseo is just kinda slow 😅
Hi everyone, I'm currently 4th in line at Downtown Toyota in Toronto. has anyone else confirmed their spot yet?

Maybe in your case, since you were #4. I was #1 on my list at a high volume dealer in London.
