I already posted mine in another thread.
The sizes are almost the same as the stock. The only exception is the wheel width.

Tire: Michelin CrossClimate2, 235/40R18
Wheel: Motegi Racing MR154, 18x8 +30

I'll see how soft the sidewalls feel, for the CC2 is a GT tire, not performance. But it should be good enough for winter rides.

The set is for winter use. OEM rear spacer. No modifications. No rubbing or no clearance issue. And...

Hub Ring:
Wheel Bore: 72.62mm (2.859")
Vehicle Hub: 60.06mm (2.365")

I plan on taking mine out to heat cycle when it's warm and dry. I'll let you know
Cool. Thanks. No rush since I still haven't decided on which tire I want, and am waiting on some brake pads to arrive that I'm gambling on working on our cars.
Found an interesting recent video done by Tirerack comparing lap times of different combinations of wheel/tire widths.

In a nutshell, in the dry, a wider tire by itself is not necessarily faster than a narrower tire. The wider tire is only faster when supported by sufficient wheel width. In the wet, a narrower tire is generally faster than a wide tire.

A pinched tire (i.e., a tire that's way too wide for the wheel it's on) is generally the slowest.

I know this isn't news, but I post this just because I see a lot of people always gravitating toward the widest tire they can fit which isn't always the best.

What I think this translates to for GR Corolla owners is that on the stock wheels, you're probably best off with a 235/40/18 or a 245/40/18.

On wheels with 18x9.5 sizing, you're best off anywhere from a 235/40 to a 255/40 and everything in between. 265's would be pushing it in the wet, and 275's are likely too wide

the factory mps4 235/40 has a 7.6" tread width on 8.5" wide wheel follows the videos feel fast and is fast tire/wheel combo of 225/45 has a 7.9" tread width on a 9" wide wheel. our oem tire/wheel setup exhibit everything the 225/45 on 9" wide. thats why i opted to go 8.5" tread width tires on a 9.5" wide wheel. to keep those characteristics on my dedicated track set. everyone wants to squeeze the biggest tire, but without the supporting wheel width, you're wasting money and leaving time on the table.... also why you shouldn't go by the standard labeled width/aspec ratio of a tire. tread width is a better determination. not all 235's are the same tread width, even within the same brand.

Hi I have a GR about 2 weeks away into South Australia and I am trying to find wheels. Has anyone measured the Xfactor brake caliper clearance. Im lookg for some 18x9.5 +22 but the wheel builder is asking for the measurement. Any help much appreciated..

König Oversteer 19x9.5 +40 (with 20mm H&R bolt-on spacers, factory 10mm on rear still installed) wrapped in 265/30R19 Ps4s's.

I'm trying to make up my kind on keeping black lugs, getting chrome, or getting pink to match my hood pins. Mostly leaning toward pink but I can only find Dorman or ebay special closed end, I've found Muteki ones but they're open end and I'm not so sure about that.

The ride somehow might actually be better than stock wheels and tires. I don't really feel the difference in weight (almost 5lbs more each), but the difference in grip is insane. There's no rubbing or anything either.

I like the 19's on there. They look great and eat up more of the wheel well.

I would definately like to see more angles. I want to see the pokeage. They look pretty flush and does not looked cambered out but cant really tell from this angle. I was thinkin of getting these or TE37 and am trying to figure out if i want +38 or +22.

any side shots? did you need to roll fenders or trim liners? No rubbing or anything? cuz if that is the case, +21 or 22 may be the money shot on lowered GR's
Wheel set I've been drooling over is 18x8 with a 45mm offset. I'm a novice when it comes to wheel spacing. I want to use a 245/40 tire. Of course Tire rack says it won't fit, but I take that with a grain of salt. Can someone advise if this will work without problems?
I have been back and fourth with wheel dealers since i have been wanting a car to fit some Work Meister M1s on. 18x9.5 +22. I know the R disk gives more space for breaks and was hoping they would fit but 2 guys (1 at works and another wheel dealer) says they will not fit unless going to 19x9.5. Another says +22 is too agressive and should maybe goto about +30 or so. So i guess i have to dash my hopes of 18x9.5. Now i asked about 19's but do not have responses yet. We will see what happens. I just dont wsnt to default to TE37s or 57DRs. Yall got info on these. I know these are a bit hard to do since they are more custom.. any help would be great
I guess what I'm asking is my 18" wheel choice only comes with an 8" width and a +45. This means I'm losing .5" diameter on my width from factory. Is this a bad idea? I then come to find out Tire Rack okays the same wheel at 19x8.5 +45. So if I'm stubborn and want to mount this wheel, what's my best advice, 18x8 or 19x8.5?

Well I can tell you my 19x9.5 +40 needed around 10mm of spacing to clear the brake calipers, so they may or may not fit depending on the spokes and if you're planning on spacing them.

These look great! Looks like +38 is magic jus like Subaru STIs. +22 looks like it may poke a bit.. maybe +30 might be a good middle ground. But your setup looks amazing

Thanks! +22 would be great if you are planning on lowering yours. However, this the one car I'm not going to lower. haha. So I wanted it to be slightly tucked in.

This is the set up I went with after seeing everyone’s one here. 18x9.5 +27 Enkei NT03RR’s wrapped in 265/35/18 Falken Azenis RT615K+. Just waiting on coils to come in to dial in fitment.
