Heh ya but is a BMW underneath. The GRC is 100% Toyota!
Toyota did the right thing by partnering with BMW. The B58 engine is incredible. Toyota designed a gorgeous body and tuned the chassis really well. So good that it gives an M2 a run for it's money. Toyota proved it's better to partner with someone than build a lesser product (Nissan Z) in house. (Almost) 100% Nissan, and can't touch the Supra.
 
Trust me, there is. The Supra will absolutely annihilate the GRC. They are nowhere near each other in performance.
That's debatable, it all depends on driver skill and the course being driven on. On a course with long straights yeah the GRC doesn't stand a chance but as I've been telling everyone complaining about the GRC, this car was built for circuit tracks in mind. The car shines best in the corners. On my track day I was completely destroying the Supras, Mercedes, Porsches, and GR86 at Willow Springs. Granted the Instructor was really good at giving me instructions so I bet that really helped but this car is best in the corners, everything else and it's meh. This silver Supra in particular was hella mad when I kept lapping him. :ROFLMAO:

Having tracked my Supra, I can tell you she's amazing in the corners. Here's a pic of us at Mid-Ohio. Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely loving my GRC, but the Supra is in another class. With equal drivers, the GRC won't stand a chance.

Yeah, sounds like driver mod is needed on those cars. No way that should be the case with an experienced driver. You had fun though, so that's all that matters!

They are for sure wicked fast and capable platforms. Supras have been killing it in time attack events, Jackie Ding was breaking class records in his all over the country lol.

Yeah, when I went on my free track day in my Supra, I lapped every other Supra lol. I've lapped Ferrari's in a Subaru STI. HPDE means nothing because nobody pushes their car to the limit.

Anyway, back to the memes lol!
