Discord servers are nice for casual back and forth but they're not indexed, eg. you can't Google search an issue and see a result from a discord chat. It's sort of the same problem I have with Facebook groups. In ~10 years when people pick these cars up on the used market and are trying to figure out quirks and issues, you could (probably) view this forum and find the answer, without registering for the website. I can't say the same about FB/Discord. Forums not only serve as a venue for discussion but as a publicly accessible repository of information gathered by the people posting there.

I agree with what you’ve said. I think a casual way to interact with other community members would be nice though.

I could have a friend make a professional discord server but it'd be pointless without a least a thousand members to keep it alive and worth moderating

Considering I got complaints about the search function and people using many threads for one thing (people use the color threads as delivery threads as well as posting in the delivery thread)

I was seeing if I can add tags and things for easier searches.

Me moving stuff hasn’t affected you specifically in any way. You wouldn’t have known If I never said anything to @underscore. Lol.

Yeah like I said before usually I will lock a thread for a little bit and move some things around or try to do something. When I close a thread for good, I usually post something first so that you’re all tracking unless it’s pretty obvious why it’s closed. (Duplicates, threads completely off topic like the early pricing threads, so on)
