And same as the GRY which is why I never understood the “It should be offered in mo colors” bit. Well I take that back on the GRY, your choice of two whites, red, and black

is there by any chance a button for the rear view camera? Or does it only turn on when you go into reverse? I found the feature very useful whenever i just roll back instead of going in reverse, my 21 Elantra N line had a separate button for it next to the shifter.

Is there still a way to do this? My friend can’t find his

As far as I found there’s no camera access button, but I believe you can set the timeout to a different length, so if you put it in reverse the camera will
Stay on an additional 10/15 seconds.

Not currently unless they update firmware. Camera only activates when you are in reverse. You can adjust some minor color calibration brightness but that’s it.

Nice! Are you liking it better than your GTI so far? I was considering a Golf R along side the GRC, but went with the GRC because I was afraid of long term reliability with the Golf. The interior and creature comforts definitely look better on the Golf, lol.

I loved my GTI but hands down I'd choose the GRC any day of the week. I was getting out of the GTI precisely because I was worried long-term reliability. I've driven a mk7 Golf R before and without a doubt, the interior is higher quality on the Golf R. It's also faster because of the DSG, but it definitely feels way more electronic/less mechanical than the GRC.
