Yeah I don't care much for the vents but that bulge really adds to the looksWish the core at least had the bulged hood like the GRY. Doesnt even have to be vented like the CE, just the bulge.
The vents kind of look tacked on in my opinionYeah I don't care much for the vents but that bulge really adds to the looks
I know ill probably get some pushback, but i prefer the GRC over the GRY. It looks better, has more space, is more practical, and has more power. Yes its heavier, but that's the only thing the GRY has over the GRC, the weight advantage.Man I'm glad we got the GRC here in the states. Something hits different over the GRY. For me personally it's the back window to the wing thats reminiscent of my favorite MY 2011 Wr(x)ocket.
The “more power” just substitutes the added weight. But everything else I agree withI know ill probably get some pushback, but i prefer the GRC over the GRY. But ill take looks, more room, more practicality, and more power over less weight Any day of the week.
I don't think that's a super controversial take. Many of us want a good daily driver. The GRC is better as a daily in every way. The GRY is probably better on the track, but I'll take that compromise for added space and creature comforts.I know ill probably get some pushback, but i prefer the GRC over the GRY. I think the take is almost pointless though because we don’t get the car anyways.I don't think that's a super controversial take. Many of us want a good daily driver. Given the poll results of GRC vs GRY, I'd say it's a very safe take. 64.4% were in favour of the GRCI know ill probably get some pushback, but i prefer the GRC over the GRY. Well it’s a GRC forum. 😂Given the poll results of GRC vs GRY, I'd say it's a very safe take. 64.4% were in favour of the GRC
Yeah but considering we don't have a choice, we're kinda forced to be here 😂Well it’s a GRC forum. 😂
That’s a contributing thing too for sure. If we got both I think people would be more 50/50Yeah but considering we don't have a choice, we're kinda forced to be here 😂
The only thing I'm skeptical about is whether the Corolla actually does have more creature comforts. Ride quality and road noise aren't likely to be significantly better, and the interior is just a marginal step up given it's a Corolla interior. Also bigger infotainment (not a big deal) and digital dash (a negative personally).I don't think that's a super controversial take. Many of us want a good daily driver. Yeah the GRC is a far better looking car. If the GRY didn't have the amazing performance it's looks would be criticised FAR more.Man I'm glad we got the GRC here in the states. Something hits different over the GRY. For me personally it's the back window to the wing thats reminiscent of my favorite MY 2011 Wr(x)ocket.
The ride comfort will be significantly better. One thing people don't talk about much is the amount of road noise in the GRY. It is louder because there is no sound deadening and the subframe is bolted directly to the body. According to Harry's Garage it is almost Porsche GT3 levels of road noise. Another thing is forward visibility which is appears to be heavily impaired by the positioning of the rear-vision mirror. Also the seat height is always mentioned as a fault by many reviewers. The only thing I'm skeptical about is whether the Corolla actually does have more creature comforts. Worth noting the Yaris gets the suede seats as standard, while Corolla has cloth seats unless it's CE.
