Hahaha it was coming, we all knew it was coming.
Anyway since I already started a future product idea thread and this has come up in EVERY SINGLE FACEBOOK POST!

it seems like something people would like to see.
I am in between 2 ideas:

1) Basic ass armrest with no storage underneath, just a place to rest your elbow when driving especially for long trips
2) Some kind of potentially 3D printed storage tray with an armrest on top, I have not gotten my car yet in order to scan everything and look at potential mounting locations but where there is a will theres a way.

I will try at all costs to avoid anyone needing to drill holes into anything. I also am shooting to keep it as similar to interior colors and such so that its not obvious its aftermarket.

I thought I'd seen something before about what to do if you don't receive screw caps, but I can't seem to find it. Was it just email customer service?

After a few more days with it I am definitely more used to it and found the sweet spot also. I noticed that my shift knob is higher than the stock one so maybe thats why its different for me.

What order number did you guys have? I think they said an initial run of 100 white, 100 red. I was order 12589 and got mine Wednesday.

I'm 12638. So should be within the first 100.
They also said on FB that it would be marked as sold out once they sell out their first 100 of each red and white.

After driving around with this installed I will likely put it on the self. It's about an inch and a half to high to be comfortable as an armrest and gets in the way when shifting if not positioned rearward. Spousal unit just called it a pain in the ass. She's blunt that way. The bottom plate in the bin should also have some method of attachment so it does not rattle around. 4 spare screws..

Order 12568 here. Got mine last week. After driving with it once, I'm already used to it. The first time I got in the car, I braced my elbow on it to shift myself into the seat, but that was a mistake. I could feel the armrest flexing pretty badly. Fortunately nothing broke. I just need to remember not to do that again.

All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase. Zero issues hitting it while shifting. do want to find a rubber mat that fits inside it though.

As a 6'6" normally proportioned guy, this thing is perfect for me. It's definitely gonna make my 75 mile commute to work much more pleasant. It goes have quite a bit of flex to it when pushing on the sides, particularly the passenger side, but I'm more than happy with it!

i'm 5'6" and have my seat positioned around 10 clicks up. the armrest is too high for me, i have to cock my elbow up/shrug my shoulder when shifting (doesn't feel natural). my elbow is making contact with the armrest. if sxthelement can reduce the height of that middle piece by 2-3" i think it could work.

How far forward is your armrest?

Not too far forward. The armrest needs to be pushed all the way back into the rear passenger's space to clear my elbow. My shift knob height is in between the stock shift knob & circuit style knob.
