Long time lurker, first time poster. It's not super exciting given the body has already been shown but I was hyped to see this on my way to work on Friday. Showed it to my girlfriend and she thought it looked stupid, I had to explain it was a camouflaged pre production car.

Compton, technically. 710-N a bit north of the 405. I am guessing it was driven by someone from Kett Engineering in Carson, they're a big testing company not far from there.

Well they are still fine tuning a production ready model, so maybe there are some slight exterior changes? Still missing the preproduction CE spoiler... That's disappointing, I was hoping something similar would be making it's way onto the production CE

This is possible. The Circuit and Core preproduction models use different manufacturer plates.

I just figured it was running a full bra to keep away road chips and whatnot since they are actively showing it at places.

Yeah its odd because theyve officially revealed it. But i guess its a marketing thing to keep it under wraps. Maybe since the ME has only been shown in limited situations and hasnt really been shown live to public here theyre keeping it under wraps. Also gives the “detectives” something to talk about as we wait.
Im doutbful on them doing this just for paint protection, i figure the show cars are trailered everywhere.
