Sooooooo, yesterday took the car out for lunch. Put it in sport/expert (nannies off), and put it in track mode (50/50). Car currently has snow tires too. Got on it doing a turnaround and the car swung out SIDEWAYS, very easy to catch and throttle out of. I was shocked cause I used to do that in my rear wheel drive frs when I needed a giggle.i'm getting my car in a few days. it's driving me crazy that there's so many complaints about the car not oversteering and NOBODY trying to solve it. not even an attempt. i'll do it my fking self
i can't comprehend how every reviewer including savagegreese can't get it to kick out at allSooooooo, yesterday took the car out for lunch. I would say either A) They weren't really getting on it enough in the right mode, or B) The tire compound is having that much of a difference (pilot sport 4 vs. blizzaks)i can't comprehend how every reviewer including savagegreese can't get it to kick out at all
Pilot Sport 4 seems to be a fairly mediocre tire. I would swap them out ASAP. Most people agree they are too loud on the highway, mediocre on the track, and not that fun on the street. GR86/BRZ owners seem to complain about them a lot. The complaints of understeer and lackluster steering feel in the GRC are partially because of the PS4.I would say either A) They weren't really getting on it enough in the right mode, or B) The tire compound is having that much of a difference (pilot sport 4 vs. blizzaks)
Yoooo @Hawt.Hatch they gave you a shout out for your green car, lol.
Love these guys, and love that he loves the car.
The comment about Toyota saying that it has to go to auction is very interesting

Yo, I know. I've been messaging them back and forth. It's pretty wild!Yoooo @Hawt.Hatch they gave you a shout out for your green car, lol.
Dude owns a C8 Z06, no wonder he is bored with GR86 and GRC lol. Doesn't mean the cars are bad, it's just a matter of perspective. His long term series is more to showcase realities of ownership and reliability issues.Just giving you guys a heads up, Jack from SavageGeese has an allocation slotted for April. Random, but I thought Iād throw that out there.
Mark also talked about Jack being over the GR86 after a year, and Iāve seen Jack say he thinks the 86 is more fun than the GRC.
So anyone expecting the ālong termā review to be beneficial in any other way over what weāve seen so far is being hopeful/generous.š
Yeah what I was saying earlier was his ālong termā review isnāt really going to cover anything we donāt know, and the fact he keeps saying heās on the fence about the allocation means itās going to be pretty uninspired.Dude owns a C8 Z06, no wonder he is bored with GR86 and GRC lol. jack is a slut for oversteer, which i deeply respect. i think he'll figure out a way to turn the grc into a gry essentially and end up loving itJust giving you guys a heads up, Jack from SavageGeese has an allocation slotted for April. Random, but I thought Iād throw that out there.

Highly doubt itjack is a slut for oversteer, which i deeply respect. i think he'll figure out a way to turn the grc into a gry essentially and end up loving it
look. this is a grc forum. we need to copium eachother til we're practically brainwashed. anything negative is a banHighly doubt it
Heāll put it to work and take it to the track here and there, talk about the AWD possibly overheating if he has the issue, will do everything everyone else is already doing then sell it after 2 or 3 videos
The fact this is a GRC forum is why Iām blunt, we know more than most people so far.look. this is a grc forum. we need to copium eachother til we're practically brainwashed. anything negative is a ban
starting to think you might be a Type R shill that created the forums as a means to control the narrative.
what's next, you're gonna tell me that the circuit edition won't have back seat pockets either???
yeah pretty much. every reviewer is gonna have their own personal values and bias. SG tend to like tactile cars that let's you do stupid shit at medium-high hp while also being chill for the street. from what i've seen in all their videos anyway. whereas someone like doug is like a kid in a candy shop and likes cars that are interesting or special feeling. it makes sense why doug would like it more than SG.The fact this is a GRC forum is why Iām blunt, we know more than most people so far.
Think about it man, most recent reviews to drop are followed by āwe already knew what they were gonna say but hereās another oneā š¤£š
the whole GR86 review was a weird one though. I think they overdid it on the suspension ( was free ) and then it was just too much for the street and there were clunks etc.The fact this is a GRC forum is why Iām blunt, we know more than most people so far.

God they were so sour (and still are) lol. It was definitely hot, one of our hottest summers in decades but that didn't stop a bunch of ppl from enjoying it. I remember watching Cammisa and Jason from Engineering Explained enjoy the hell out of it. Jason couldn't stop putting laps in.yeah pretty much. every reviewer is gonna have their own personal values and bias. SG aren't really gonna change their minds after their terrible first drive in it. It soured them way too much along with the marketing lol
I agree, thatās for a car he likes too.the whole GR86 review was a weird one though. I think they overdid it on the suspension ( was free ) and then it was ust too much for the street and there were clunks etc.
Iāll admit I defended their opinion on the car, as the car isnāt for everyone, but them trying to do a long term makes it all sound stupid to me. šGod they were so sour (and still are) lol. But I'm learning savage geese is very specific (and occasionally inconsistent) about what they do/don't find value in so it's whatevs. Just another opinion.
