I've watched as many of these lap videos I can find and overall.... I'm blown away.

The chassis appears to be very balanced but will bias towards oversteer especially when off throttle which is exactly what I'd want. I wonder if they've tuned out some of the understeer you see people comment on about the GRY. Also, in a few of the videos its fully raining and still no washout understeer. Given these are professional drivers but still, they didn't seem to be babying these laps.

Gotta say every time more content is released about this thing the more validated I feel in my down payment.

One thing I do feel is lacking compared to the GRY is induction noise on throttle. I know some people complained about it but I LOVE the woosh of forced induction the GRY produces under load building boost. Reminds me very much of 90s JDM cars of which I've driven many. From these clips, I can't really hear it. I don't know if maybe they've tuned it out, or it could also be the active exhaust is overpowering the noise or the quick and easy camera set ups just aren't catching the audio. Honestly that's my only gripe lol.

Tires and weight. SavageGeese told me the ME is way more tail happy too compared to the CE.
Could be tuning on the shocks too, although generally from that earlier quote, if you make one end stiffer, it tends to slip first on that end, so if you make front stiffer it tend to indersteer. Im sure both shocks are tuned differently from corr and CE.

Yup. I think overall, it’s a great handling car, people shouldn’t expect it to have 100% RWD characteristics because after all it is AWD.

I see a lot of people disappointed with what seems to be understeer on the CE but there’s also CE and MEs easily sliding around corners as well. Looks fun.

The japan videos with their drivers say same, the ME is fast.
I really wish they had just made the difference between the circuit and morizo a difference of weight and cosmetics. Now I feel like I’m missing out with the circuit because I need the rear seat for my family….

I wouldnt stress about it, unless your tracking or doing HPDEs you prob wont feel too much s diff. You could most of mods to a Circuit and be pretty close, esp the tires. Thats prob the biggest diff in feel youll notice. The other significant diff is the trans, which will be more sutble. And prob a tiny bit worse mileage.
The torque once they crack the ecu im sure you can tune it to match.
