Keiichi isn’t the type to be bought but his super crazy praise for the CTR was weird to me. He wasn’t interested in the GRC really at first but now he apparently really likes it after his drive,

Probably more than that. I've read that we may get a Supra GRMN (maybe even close to six figures) before the Supra goes electric in 2025.According to that math it’ll be $70,000 USD, very soon

until the production version is in the hands of youtube testers that can do this important test, and others, we will never know.
that being said, just based on the parts comparisons, I think the real difference is going to be on the way home from the grocery store, there's not going to be any gain on the way there, it's all in the drive home.

As Jeonsa said, it was a joke. It’s not going up to that price or anything near it (MSRP). It was ridiculous for someone to even state that.
At 70k, I’d be buying a loaded GRC Core and a GR86. Or a loaded Core and a new Panigale V4s.

Why is this a bad thing? We all love the idea of Toyota making a reliable STI right? So why complain when they are going and doing what all of us asked for?

I mean I can only speak for myself, but if I am not ready to buy a Circuit, or just cannot end up getting my hands on one, I don't want to wait 2-5 years for someone to charge me more than MSRP for a limited edition used GRC Circuit..... then wait 10 years for them all to be crashed, beat to hell, or too expensive. I mean come on. look at the Lexus IS F, especially the 2012 models... You really can't get your hands on one. They are going extinct 😭
Anyways... Rant over. I am HAPPY to hear that we might have a few more in production. (Better chances for the lot of us)

I was looking at this statement with squinty eyes as well....
My guess is that they will be taking away some of the "standard" features from the release year, and letting the runner up year just sell on the hype from the first models nobody can get their hands on anymore.
