If you want a super fun, inexpensive run-around EV, look for a used ‘14-‘15 Spark EV. I owned one for three years and put 32,000 miles on it. It was a super super fun car that no one knew about! Under 3000 lbs, very sporty handling (super low center of gravity) and 330-400 lb-ft of tq (depending on the year). It was a riot driving around in the city or back roads. Not much of a highway machine (of course). 80-90 miles of range. Really a fun car to squirt around in (and if you turned off traction control you could burn the front tires straight off it if you cared to!!)

Thanks for the recommendation! Looking at the stats, it does look like a fun little EV. Sad to see it was so short lived! I'll set up a few alerts in the used market. Caravan has them for 15+k. Might be tempted at ~10k.
