I’m in Northern Utah. Hoping to get a Circuit Edition for my new daily driver. I have deposits in at two dealers and on a waitlist at a third.

Sold my Camaro during the covid price spikes and switched to a motorcycle for track days at Utah Motorsports Campus (UMC). Building a 2JZ for a fun swap in the near future.

Welcome from Wyoming! UMC looks like an awesome track! I've never driven on a track before but would love to if I can get into a GRC. Can I drive a stock car on a track like UMC or are there a bunch of hoops to jump through?

You can absolutely bring a stock car, just have to pass a very basic tech inspection. Aside from the NASA track weekends, they also offer amateur track days on certain week nights throughout the month. It’s a very “noob” friendly track. The track staff and local NASA chapter are great to work with.

Thats perfect! I'm absolutely a noob and amateur track days would be right up my ally. I'd prefer to initially hit the track with an instructor or someone who'd know what the heck they're doing and when no ones there or with other amateurs who won't eat me alive. Thanks for the response.

HPDE 1 would be perfect for you. It’s all newer drivers with instructors riding along. They’ll point out proper techniques, racing line, etc. Best part is, NASA just announced today that Toyota is extending their partnership to the GR Corolla and all buyers will get a NASA membership and a free track day.

Welcome!! Would love to see the build. Plans for what chassis to put it in?

Leaning towards a Z32 300ZX, but also tempted to throw it in a G-Body.

I'm a simple man. I see American Muscle, I click like.

Love the green Camaro, and said you had to see it go. Welcome aboard!
