The itemizing is the garbage part. If he says $46k because thatâs the going rate and leaves out why he priced it that way, itâs somehow feels less shitty. Itemizing it feels like âhey, I got one for MSRP, it was a mistake because I can get an even better one (that most people wonât have access to), please bail me out of my mistake.â
It is probably me subconsciously being annoyed that weâre collectively validating dumb decisions made for YOLO and my kid is growing up in that culture. Do whatever you want; someone will probably bail you out.
There has been a number of people buying 2 of these cars. The one guy in UT, buying a non-PP equipped car, then getting a 2nd allocation for a PP car, and buying that also. Then other people buying a color they didnât want only to get a 2nd allocation for the color they wanted, buying the second, then selling the first. Now we are beginning to see the exact same thing for people getting MEâs and soon to be CEâs. Itâs sickening, more for society at large, like you were referring to bringing your child up in this. God in Heaven, these mfâs donât have the simple patience to just wait a little bit for what you want? FOMO, FOMO, FOMO! I donât know if the analogy of these people being children is better, or comparing them to people in the Matrix, in the little cocoon with the hoses hooked up to all orifices, living on a diet of other dead âcopper topsâ. Iâve said this before, I could have bought a Core, at MSRP, in each color, all with PP/TP, and turned all 3 down. Right thing to do. There would be some money in it for me to make, a few k, on each, too, but Iâd feel like a dirtbag buying 1, 2, or even 3 of these cars only to resell them. Not much different than what those scumbag Carvana, Vroom fâers do.
Itâs just the world we live in. I have no love for it either. Just embarrassingly poor behavior to me. No good for the community at all. Just FOMO and narcissism run amuck. To me they should find an island, call it Hanâs island, and ship all these clowns there. Free up acreage in the US for people who can actually think for themselves, people that have some decency, and letâs just ship the clowns out to the island. I take it back, instead of Hanâs island with a Kung Fu tournament, just call it image island. They can shoot all the bachelor, bachelorette, all the rest of them bs ârealityâ programming there, and set up bleachers for people to watch. /rant off
