Do you have a tl;dr (tl;dw)? Not trying to give this doofus a view...
Fair enough, rambling video about car, can’t keep car because he wants to keep racing his spec track car and Toyota killed exterior design etc but Toyota failed because he can’t afford to keep it because 40k is too much. (Doesn’t mention what he paid)

The car is paid off which means this guy is currently on the hook for about $50k or so.

I hated it so much I didn't click on it, just from the thumbnail. So in summary its Toyota's fault because HE bought it and can't afford it? LOL. I think we all no who the Fail is.

Interesting. I know here in Kentucky. You still get the title to the vehicle it just says that there’s a lien on it. I wonder if it’s something along those lines
Not the case here in PA. So in your state how does a sale work from a title standpoint? In PA you have to pay off the loan and the bank sends you the title. That takes some time. The seller here is implying he could complete the sale immediately.

I’m not sure honestly. Your method is how I’m used too. I’ve only lived here a bit over a year and I traded my Supra in for the GRC. They sent me a title for the Supra when I purchased it that showed a loan out for it and the loan company but it was traded into the dealership so that was a different situation than private sale.

Not the case in TX either. Same as you in PA. You finance the car and the lender has the title. They own it, not you. You won’t even see that title until you pay the vehicle off in full at which point it’s mailed to you. This is exactly why I put down 50% on vehicle purchases. I don’t like when I have possession of the vehicle but don’t have the title and want that time real short. This is how it works in most states too. Lender has the title until you pay the vehicle off. Until it’s paid off the bank owns it and you’re just making payments. Best day of the year is when I get that title in the mail and schedule a trip to my bank deposit box to keep it. It’s mine!
