Of course there is still a lot of R&D to go, probably. But aesthetically, which look do you guys prefer?

No, that's them. I mean all exhausts up to this point seem to follow the same recipe. I like that the bend in their piping around the coupling and rear diff is not as drastic as the others, and is more or a gradual bend. Placement of piping around that area also looks to be spaced away further minimizing heat transfer than the other exhausts.

Only one I've seen so far that sounds good and will be priced right is the @SXTH Element Engineering single exit and dual exit exhaust, not to mention they will offer the single exit (and possibly the dual one as well) in titanium. Best part is the estimated price for the titanium single exit is much less than the Miltek and magnaflow SS ones.

I hadn't seen anything on a dual exit from them. Could you share something on it here?

Those tips remind me of those horrible rockstar wheels. They probably wouldn't be that bad if you couldn't see the center portion.

The one that looks like they took an HKS muffler and go to an exhaust shop? I feel like people waiting for a single exit should just buy a canister muffler, resonator and go to a shop. There's your exhaust.

Hey guys this is my first post on here. I’m the guy who has been working with Borla to develop an exhaust system for our cars. I’m trying to upload the sound clips on here but they exceed the size limit. Am I going to have to compress them? I know some of you don’t like the tips but this is a prototype. They are planning of blacking out the inside portion of the tips so its all black to go along with the carbon. They are also still finalizing whether it’s going to be a OEM 3 tip exhaust or quad tips. I’ve been trying to persuade them to go with the OEM loom since I’m not the biggest fan of quad tips.

I'd upload to YouTube with a google account, even if you were to keep it private and only share here. That way it retains a lot of the video and sound quality.

I'm a huge fan of the OEM design especially when keeping the oval center pipe. The quad tips look extremely silly, and triple round tips looks awful.

True, but I'm wanting mine in Titanium, and the cost of fabbing up my own titanium exhaust similar to their single exit would actually cost more than their estimated price of their titanium single exit. 🤷🏻

Yeah I am going to do that. Forgot to say that this exhaust will have a working valve. Borla told me the reason the exhaust systems that use the valve are so expensive is because of the valve itself. They told me that Toyota made a new type of valve for the exhaust and so Borla had to make their own since they had never seen one like it. I’ll post the link once I finish the video.

Ah, so it incorporates the valve... Guess this means it will be yet another $2k+ SS exhaust. No thanks.

Yeah they haven’t told me much regarding price atm but they told me they want to make it less than 2k. We’ll see though. I hope its not too expensive. I don’t agree with these steep prices.

is it really that much more just to weld another tip and small pipe to that muffler to complete the 3 tip look?
