Hey guys/gals just wondering if anyone here collects diecast? I just started fairly recently and just have been on a Toyota hunt.

I've wanted to get into it but I have enough expensive hobbies. I do, however, have a lot of the Lego cars such as the 918 Spyder, GT-R Nismo, M-Sport Fiesta RS, and the Creator Expert 911 Turbo
Been meaning to visit like target or similar to look for the new Toyota Hotwheels just released. I dont really collect but have a little Japan FJ40 thst was a gift to me.
I just started I dont have to many maybe about 20. And there are a lot of different series that I dont understand. If I come across a 1:64 Toyota and there around 5 bucks then I have been picking them up the past month or two.
I've always considered getting the nicer ones (1:18 variants) of cars that I own, but then I question my sanity for wanting to spend $100-$200 on a small replica of a car I own when I can use that $100-$200 on the car itself, lol.
Yes I have noticed some are like 200-500 that's crazy talk lol
I won't lie - if AutoArt comes out with the GR/GRMN Yaris or the GR CHB model, I'd probably buy it even if its $200, lol.

I do have a bunch of Hotwheels cars though
I have been a fan of tomicas for years, and I also started picking up hw/mb very recently. Personally I feel that tomicas have more varieties for JDM models, while hw/mb are better at EU/NA and original models. But all these brands are affordable and allow you to build a larger collection with the same budget when compared with 1/18 brands like Kyosho, Autoart or BBR.
