Daddy Doug DeMuro's overview is live

Looks like Doug will be the first to do an overview of the A91-MT Supra, considering he's standing in front of the prototype in his Cars and Bids plug.

Something I learned from Father Douglas's review is that he expects to see the final version of the GRC's spoiler "in the next month", but I'm not sure if that's just conjecture.

I also might've missed this but it looks like the Core will be getting different tires from the Circuit. It looks like the Circuit will be getting Pilot Sport 4s (not to be confused with 4S), and I'm not sure what the Core will be getting. (side note - disappointed that the CE is not getting the higher-tier 4S tires, and the Core relegated to the 4. I think Pilot Sport 5 is also available soon?)

Doug also seems to agree with some predictions of sub-40k for the price (I don't think he specified which trim, though). Will be curious if that's true.

He also didn't mention the gloss black appointments the CE gets over the Core and didn't say how the knob was exclusive to the CE

I didn't know that the Core won't have the seats shown in the Circuit. Interested to see what the standard cloth seats on the Core look like. Hopefully they still have GR branded in the headrest.

Yeah. This was my only surprise in this video. I thought they were both getting cloth/leather/alcantara seats. Just that the circuit ones were extra specialy

I think that might just be a misunderstanding by Doug or just worded wrong because he mentions the Core will get cloth while the CE has alcantara middles. All the press info says just different materials, not different seats all together. Maybe we can get @Guff to confirm?

Seats are the same, just base one is all cloth, no alcantara inserts and presumably no leather on the sides. We haven't seen those seats yet though, so I can't be sure of exactly what they'll look like.

it’s a Corolla interior so some of the internet hype beasts shouldn’t be so quick to bash it. 😂

Idk how it took him so long. This review has essentially been done like 100 times on YouTube by various yt people.

Aren't the Type R seats cloth? Hopefully the cloth seats look and feel good.

It would suck if the seats are just plain and boring. For a potentially 40k something car (Canadian), just plain cloth seats would be very disappointing.

It's one of the reasons I like Doug. He tends to be less hype focused than other reviewers.

Looks like this car is missing center console armrest for some reason.
Is that going to be optional or is it because this is an early prototype?
All the other prototypes I've seen so far had regular armrest.

I like Doug in general. He’s entertaining and funny in his own weird way. You can tell he’s just a nerdy enthusiast who unexpectedly made it big and is enjoying every minute of it. He also grew up near me and we have some mutual friends, although I’ve never met the guy.

If you jive with the humor and aren’t looking for a whole technical review he’s great. If you want more in depth mechanical stuff then Savagegeese and Sarah N Tuned are awesome…plus Jack and Mark’s sense of humor is underrated. Regular Car Reviews is profoundly weird and very niche but is probably my favorite car YouTube channel of all.

Damn…I waste a lot of time watching car porn on YouTube. Whatever. I’m a grown ass man and I can deep fry my free time as I damn well please haha.

I love savage geese, not the biggest fan of Sarah. Her sense of humor just doesn't land with me, but she's great of you want technical stuff. Regular is hit or miss for be. I like thestraightpipes, but they hardly ever say anything negative.

I've always said. Time enjoyed is not time wasted.
