There will be 8000 ”copies” next year. And 8000 copies each year for the next 2 after that.

I hate to say this but paying 75k for a Corolla is just stupid, even a collector. If they came out with Air Jordan Toilet Paper tomorrow “in very limited quantities” well most people certainly aren’t going to pay more than what their normal toilet paper costs.

And legit rally car? You can’t be serious. It does not have the suspension, the ground clearance, nothing, to be a rally car. Please see WRC current regs, and examples from the factories. The Morizo is a souped up Corolla meant for a road circuit not a rally stage. And it has the same problem as the Core and Circuit, needing to be modified for track use as the cooling for the rear diff and AWD system is not sufficient.

You can’t fight stupidity. A GR Supra is a much more capable and faster car around a circuit and you can get one for $55k. You can get a M Car for less than 75k, including a C8 Corvette. That kind of money puts you in Cayman turf, and a whole list of other much more capable automobiles.

I like to start my mornings with some sense, I appreciate it.

This is pulling from the Toyota inventory page at a regular interval so probably previously sold cars will disappear from the map.

as to cars not on the map, I’d love to learn how Toyota’s inventory system works. Maybe some cars don’t show until they are “A” status?

There is some facility to submit reports on dealers without vehicles at the moment (ie had GRc’s in the past) if you zoom in far enough. That being said, I don’t have all Toyota dealers, only ones that have had GRC’s since end of January.

hope that helps, have fun!
It seems dealerships can "hide" their inventory if they're confident that the vehicle has been sold. I've got a VIN and all that stuff and my sales rep is able to track the car on her end, but it's delisted from the main Toyota inventory page. I think I read on another forum that this is an option for them.

I can confirm they are able to hide them. The one I bought was not sold, they were just sick of the phone calls so they hid it.
With some of these dealers rolling with waitlists 30+ deep, it surprises me that more of them don't delist them just to stop getting calls. I know for a fact that the dealership closest to me has closed their waitlist and one 200 miles away is at least 20+ people deep that they can call before they would technically need to list it. MSRP dealer too, so it will not be hard for them to sell to someone on their list.

I don't disagree, but do you have any source for this? I've been trying to look up how many they'll be producing, and for how many model years, and haven't found much of anything.
production estimates were noted by the marketing guy pretty close to the reveal. this is also where the 6500 number for the '23 MY estimates come from.

@dng How often does the map update? I am seeing some new cars pop up on toyota's inventory but not on the map.

@dng anything on updating the map? It is still only showing cars from a month ago. Many have come and gone with no update to the map.

it's automated to run a couple times a day, but while I was on vacation, the database API that I used started failing. now fixed and should resume automatic updates
