Since I finally acquired my GRC today I figured I’d start my official build thread and update as the car progresses.
I plan on documenting pretty much everything, modifications, track days (1/4mi and track, I’m in Bowling Green KY right now for work so I have Beech Bend and NCM), designing parts in CAD as well as how they’re made etc. I’m a design engineer by trade so the GRC parts are just a fun side project for me.

This is going to be a freaking blast! Im coming from a MKV Supra so this will be a fun change, I know my dog thanks me for not having to sit in the front seat anymore haha.

Anyway here some pictures from delivery day, the first one was from when I happened to drive by the dealer in the morning and the rest are from when I actually went to pick her up.
The paint overall is pretty clean but there’s some light microabrasions in the clean that I’ll be polishing out before I ceramic coat her.

Went to another test and tune. Literally one other car there which was very unusual. Very first pass was a 13.6, then a 13.58 then another 13.6, 13.9.
absolutely crushed the 13.9 I struggled with the first timeI ran the car and a consistent 1.9 60’

Got the video put together. Removal of the oem intake as well as installing the sxth one and a clip of my new pb at the track.
sorry, I know it’s a long video but I like being thorough when it comes to uninstalls and installs.

Take good before and after notes, so we know if it's worthwhile!
Will do! I’ll be curious to see how this impacts the driving. I just put them on. Extremely easy install.

Install took maybe 10 min after the air box was removed. Shifting in the car in my garage doesn’t seem like a “huge” change but will report back once I’ve had a chance to drive with them.

So I did a thing. 😅 being on the waitlist for the valientes wing and with how annoying it is trying to find a not insanely marked up CE. I scored a CE hood from @Ricecake that was a deal! Not to mention a fairly close drive for me. All the vents and stuff are already in my garage and waiting.

To reconfirm. Yes the CE hood will fit in the core with the seats down.

She’s home safe. I’m going to order some vinyl tonight. The local place wants 450 to wrap JUST the hood. Fuuuuuuucck that I’ll teach myself. It’s literally the easiest piece I could teach myself on.

I picked up my CE hood from a member on here recently and had been back and forth between attempting to wrap it myself or pay someone to do it. I tried doing it myself and honestly, pain in the fing ass!
I ended up taking it to a local place and watching how they did it. For me the hood was the missing part for my core since the valientes wing will take care of the rear aspect. Got the hood today, I installed the vents and she’s ready to go on the car and be coated.

Cleaned, clay barred and then ceramic coated the hood to give it time to dry before I put it on tomorrow. It’ll be 24-36hrs before I wash the car just to make sure everything seals correctly. Not as perfect as I’d like but this is temporary and I’m also not comfortable going more heavily with polishing the vinyl I did a super light pass with some polishing solution to remove any microabrasions but I’m not going crazy

Very nice. I'm still on the fence about it on mine. Seems like 1/2 of the cars in Denver will have them lol
