Hey everybody!

I'm looking at the grrolla (ha!) being the first new car I buy. Excited for that awd hot hatch with Toyota reliability! I've come close to pulling the trigger on a few different cars but I'm really sold on this being my next purchase so I'm patiently waiting! Haven't driven the current corollas, will I fit comfortably at 6'1" 180? Here's my car resume
98 Eclipse GSX
03 IS300
99 Eclipse GST
09 Mazdaspeed3
05 IS300
10 RDX

Cheers :)

Corolla’s have some pretty good space. Welcome to the forum!
Welcome! Final fit will also depend on the seats that GRC gets. Space won't be an issue, but I am curious about driving position.

Curious to see that as well. The number 1 complaint with the GRY was the seat sat too high so I wonder if they'll fix that with the GRC

Just height alone isn't usually enough to determine comfort. I'm 5'8" with shorter than average legs and legs. This translates to a longer torso and my head rubbing the roof on a lot of compact cars. My shorter arms also make it so my seat has to be fairly close to the steering wheel.

Meanwhile, someone with more average limb lengths and shorter torso, despite being notably taller (6'2") will be a lot more comfortable in the same seat (with different adjustments).

So the answer is gonna be...you'll find out when you sit in one! lol.

So, as others have said, we won't know until we know what seats are in it. but if it helps...

I did some looking on this before settling on this as my next car. I drive a Focus ST with the ST3 package. That comes with Recaro bucket seats, the least roomy option offered in the car. I'm 6' 2" and 250lbs, so a little on the big side, but fairly averagely proportioned when it comes to leg length. Think typical dad bod with a wide frame. I fit fairly comfortably. My dad, who's 6' 0" and 240lbs loves it.

The Corolla, as it sits today, has about an inch more space in every direction when it comes to the driver and passenger seats "compartments". So, unless they put hella high seats or something dumb in there, I don't see fit being a problem for me.
