Very excited and surprised Toyota is making something like this. I currently have a Focus ST that I'd like to trade in for one of these. That is, if I can manage to get one. They seemed to generate a ton of interest, which is great, but may make them hard to get for the first couple of years.
Only thing I wish was an option on the regular GR Corolla was that hood. The regular Corolla GR looks so mundane in comparison without that hood and spoiler. A circuit edition would be awesome, but I won't even think about trying to get one of those. It'll likely never happen.
Happy to be here and extremely happy and surprised Toyota is bringing such an enthusiast-oriented vehicle to the U.S.

I am disappointed in one way, they release this hot new car but it comes in 3 of the blandest most vanilla colors possible. Literally just the 3 most popular colors for geriatric sedan buyers. It kind of puts me off somewhat.

I know exactly what you mean, I work for a Toyota dealership (I'm lucky enough to be first inline to get the Circuit Edition) and if it's true that they're allocating their stock then I'm at the mercy of chance to what color I even get! I'll be happy no matter what, just let it be grey.

There's always the option of wrapping it. I know I plan to get mine wrapped as soon as it's financially responsible to do so. Either gonna go with something like Ford's Cyber Orange or the Flame Blue that the CHB currently comes in.

Agree about the hood. Just adds a lot to the look of the car without being too much imo, and the vents are at least functional even if minimally as heat retractors. Don’t think the CE is in my budget tho unfortunately, and the hood isn’t exactly a deal breaker, but I’ll def be looking for a work around on it lol
