The people making Porsche comments don't get it. Most of these high dollar EVs (most EVs?) are being purchased by people that don't think like us. For the most part none of them are auto enthusiasts, in the motorsports/interactive/involvement sense. I would absolutely trust the fit and finish and technology of this car over a RR. GM usually has industry leading technology; they're just bad at implementing it. Hopefully this changes here. They also are the undisputed leaders in driving aid systems.

I was flabbergasted by the range and power. 300k for 600hp and 300 miles when Lucid and Tesla have their cars at 1/3 the price and better performance. Tesla isn't near as luxurious but even the Taycan is less money for similar range and more power

I don't know if this was planned or if it was a coincidence but less than a day after Cadillac revealed the Celestiq, Rolls-Royce revealed the Spectre EV. Which is quite the haymaker.

For that kind of money given only the two cars to choose from I'd go with the Spectre all day.

Rolls Royce was very public about the Spectre EV, meanwhile it seems like Cadillac was just waiting for a moment like this to debut the Celestiq, no one really expected it to debut yesterday.

For the same money I'll take a 992 GT3 (like what you mentioned earlier, although it wasn't 992 specific). ICE cars are on the way out and I rather just enjoy the last of them launching these days.

I've read for maximum driver involvement and engagement the special 2011 GT3 RS 4.0 was awesome.
To me the more analog the car is the better.
Test drove a Nissan GTR and hated it, more like playing a video game than driving.

Porsche EV will hopefully be pretty cool. it'll be nice to not worry about blowing an overpriced engine on track (I'm not bitter - promise). We'll find out with the Cayman replacement in a year or two.

(also I don't recognize 5000 lb 4 door vehicles as Porsches )
