Brake Dust

This may sound stupid, but I’ve considered either buying a new set of wheels, or blasting and powder coating the factory wheels a bronze color that is more the color of the brake dust haha. I think they would also be a decent color match with the supersonic red… Tell me I’m crazy and save me some money please.

I understand why the brakes make so much dust, and my car is a daily, not a garage Queen. I bought the car to drive and enjoy, not to stare at. I won’t be ceramic coating or PPF any part on the car.

That said, when i do wash her up i rather the wheels look nice for longer than backing out of my driveway haha. After the whole car is a little dirty it doesn’t bother me, but that timeframe while the car is clean and the wheels look rough makes it seem like i don’t care enough or just forgot to wash the wheels.

I may consider swapping to non PP brake calipers as well if i actually do something with the wheels. The red is just as much to blame as the gloss black wheels for looking grungy in short order.
