Do you think it will differ in any way from the prototype cars? I kind of wish there was a GR-Four badge on the rear of the car, even though its embossed into the rocker panels. I'm usually the type to debadge my cars, but the GRC is special and I guess I want to leave them.

I think I remember reading the Morizo edition will have a interior "xx of xxx" limited-editon badge on the console or dash. Do you think the Circuit Edition would get a similar interior badge to show the production number of the limited-run circuit edition?

Finally, any guesses at to when we will see the production spec cars?

Badging is spot on, production cars will be seen during first drives in August

I thibk the CE will not get numbered plates, they specifically changed from launch edition to Circuit edition because they couldnt make the production numbers and they havent said how many CE’s there will be.

I was actually just watching the release video of the morizo edition. They specified that the Circuit will have 1500 produced and only for the initial model year and never again. The Morizo Edition will get 200 released its first year, but will continue to be produced and is not a 1 year thing.

The bits from the Circuit Edition will end up on some trim beyond the CE for MY24 and M25. I could see the CF roof not being a long run depending on the tooling required to make it. The hood will certainly be offered in following model years. They'll want some ROI on the stamping tooling for that.

I am thinking that the way they will continue to perpetuate the roof and hood will be the Morizo edition since they said that will continue to be produced for future years.

So the CE will end up being more exclusive than th ME eventually? Weird. I dont understand that. I can see oater special editions similar to the CE but different colors, maybe other small differences like the ME engine tune.
I just watched a japan video of a track drive of the GRMN Y and he was raving about it. Interestingly bonus video clip talks about how much of the parts will be available for purchase to anyone, the dry carbon hood and wing, adjustable coilivers, close ratio gearset.

We’ve been saying that since the announcement, it’s all weird how they’re doing the grades.

CE is limited to a year but that’s Japan’s standard car and they’ve advertised it the most.

ME is super limited to 200 but is available every year.

The Core is our main GRC thats available.

Usually all the parts can be bought later unless it is structural changes etc, as cars need to be repaired over time. Those parts usually are also way more expensive to buy from the dealer after the fact.

Only way for the CE to be more limited than the ME is if they produce the GRC for 8 years, which is highly unlikely. So the ME will still end up being more exclusive than the CE IMO.

At 200 units definitely, but you will still see the car every year is all, whereas the CE or maybe a GRMN are a one year thing.

It’s interesting nonetheless

I see the Morizo as a hard sell anyway in this market as basically any level of practicality is gone when you lose the rear seats and can't roll down the rear windows anymore. That is probably why it is going to be so limited.

That's assuming they don't bump numbers up from 200 units. I think they may increase it and 200 is just to gauge interest for now
That is true. During the new product launch they specifically said 200 "for the first year". that number could go up or down depending on how they sell. Since they will definitely be jacking up the price while technically removing back seats window and wiper motors etc the profit margin on the morizo would be higher for them as well.

Not only based on how they sell, we know supply chain issues are limiting the first year production all together so that could be another reason there is only 200 for the first year
