The head of Ford dropped this teaser of it on Twitter and changes to the design alone seems interesting compared to the outgoing model.

I hear that more powerful variants with a supercharged engine are expected. There were rumors of hybrid and AWD versions but no longer seems to be the case.

Ford will debut it on Sept 14, anyone going to watch the reveal?

I'm a fan. Sound was always one of the things I knew I was giving up going for a GRC.
Ya knowing I used to be able to pick up a mustang for 8k off MSRP I just can't seem to pay sticker for one now. That's why the GRC is top of my list. I don't want to see the market correct and end up over paying. But I wouldn't mind picking up a gt350 or boss 302 I figure they'll hold value. If I new rebates were never coming back then it would be a hard choice, I don't need AWD.

I'll be watching. Ford fan boy and I've been very curious about what powerplants they're gonna go with for the S650, but I've also heard they're ditching the hybrid and AWD. I was holding on to my Shelby expecting them to ditch the V8, but sold it once they announced it will still have the Coyote. Excited to see the refresh tho

I'm slowly leaning this way TBH - I drove a couple year old 2.3 PP around Mt Baker, WA recently and was really impressed. They are available, can be test driven... the wife seems onboard.
The 2.3L is honestly a fantastic car by every measure. The Premium is a decent price for what you're getting and is a ton of fun.

My only problem is I can't see myself in an ecoboost Mustang. If I went Mustang, it has to be V8 and RWD.
