Anyone else get the "Can we get you something else?" text?

Hell the first dealer I talked to immediately tried to sell me a Rav4. I guess because they both have 4WD. The second assured me they had plenty of new Corollas that they could get me in to that day. 🤷

I just picked mine up from mark miller Toyota the other day. last I checked I was like number 8 on the list but that was a while ago. I bet some people gave up waiting. The sales guy I was working with gave me a call out of the blue and told me "my" car was ready lol. I'm sure you'll get one pretty soon

I mean, Rav4s are nice. Im trying to get my mom out of her grand cherokee and into a rav4 or 4runner, but they are DEF not even close. haha. i'm transferring from a 2017 corolla to the GR, so im excited to see the difference.

They're just trying to meet their quarterly sales goals. It doesn't matter if you buy a GR Corolla or a regular Corolla from them. New car sales are new car sales.

As for a 2017 Corolla to a GR Corolla, the only similarities maybe just the interior. Other than that, it's a completely car and driving experience.

Haha for sure. I had another dealer try to offer me an XSE and i just laughed. he said "i know, my manager is making us push...". so at least he gets it.

bahaha, even at that, it's probably just the name "corolla" that's similar. the interior looks so different compared to the 2017 gen. i got to sit in a GR at the auto show in sandy back in, like.. January? it's so different, but the seats feel pretty comfy! it helps im 5'2, but even my partner is 6' and said the seats feel comfortable, which seems to be the opposite of what tall people on this forum feel.
