He has not. I'll hit him up again, as he claimed his dealer was allocated one. The first allocations for January have already dropped or will be dropping next week, so if what he says is true, he should have some more info.
The ratio of Cores to CEs is about 4:1, so after about 400 Cores in circulation you would think that Toyota would start sprinkling some in the mix. However, I’m sure supply issues dictate manufacturing so Toyota will probably produce them in batches rather than sprinkling them in, but I just hope my dealer gets one!
Since the GR core has been out and being sold currently, I am wondering if anyone has any dealership news on the Circuit Model. Please limit this thread, only to the Circuit Models. I’m guessing that Toyota will be allocating Circuits within the next Couple of months and shipping by March, April.
From what I was gather most dealers have been told by Toyota Canada the total 2023 GR allocations they a forecasted to receive. They do not receive specific model estimates, could be any of the models.
It's been mentioned before that each dealership would get at least one CE but, given the allocation model, do you all think it's possible that some (lower volume dealerships) may not get any at all?
Late to the game and got my foot in the door recently for a Circuit Ediiton at a few dealerships, all unsure as to whether they will even get a single car. What are the chances I see a vehicle in 2023 - any other strategies folks recommend?
Your chances aren't great for a Circuit edition. You might can get a Core if you're extremely lucky and you'll probably have to pay ADM since all the MSRP dealers have lists a mile long.
Getting a Circuit Edition at or very close to MSRP is what will require patience and effort.
Although, your location and market condition may very. Here at my market in Northern California, majority of the Core models that had list prices of 10k-20k have been sold. These also happen to be the “no waitlist” dealers. At one dealership someone even came in right at opening the day after it was delivered to pay $10k over.
Trading in a core for a circuit should be especially attractive to MSRP dealers. They can only sell each new one for MSRP, but they can sell your used trade-in for whatever the hell they want.
Just saw this on my Facebook feed....
Looks like the preproduction spoiler, but it's a relatively new ad, so maybe the production spoiler? Either way, it's gorgeous!
It certainly looks good from this one angle, but I definitely question if it's the final production. I know I'm going to want a different spoiler for the core, but I definitely want to wait and see what options come up.
I happen to check the Toyota website and for the Circuit Edition, it definitely will come with a sporty big rear wing. That's for sure and I even confirmed this with my salesman that I am currently working with.
In mr opinion, there are FAR too few Circuit and Moriso editions being put out. I’ve been third on my waiting list for over 2 years and probably won’t get a Circuit Edition….
Already posted in the dealer update thread, but saw the first west coast Morizo edition to show up in the Toyota inventory search. I'd assume that means Circuits are on the way soon as well.
Not really. Look at Jeonsa’s post above. They told us they were behind schedule due to the flood or whatever last year. So that schedule is 100% accurate. They are just behind 3-4 weeks.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
