Fixed Disconnected the battery overnight and p0101 has not come back and now its just the standard p2c90.

For the 2025 owners, anyone else getting this code? It's coming back immediately after resetting it upon its initial install. Stock top box works fine so MAF sensor is working as it should. Went ahead and reached out to Forge as they have advertised the 23-25 to have no CEL.

Next question is this code safe to disable when ecutek is available for 25s?

Other mods: CSF intercooler, big mouth scoop, etsy valve mod.

I have the SXTH version of this, and it has remained in the box because of three reasons (bought it on sale for Black Friday):
  • I have yet to see anyone show any sort of gain with turbo inlets when not using the stock intake (where they do make power by relieving a bit of a bottleneck).
  • The piping is made out of aluminum, at least mine is, which is going to heatsoak like crazy right above the turbo and drive IATs up over the stock thermoplastic piping
  • MY25s are already so damn sensitive to the P2C90, that if you having a working aftermarket intake already (I do), it's advisable to not mess with it given there is no software fix like there is for MY23/24

I have a 25 GR Corolla with the full HKS intake with full carbon enclosure. I get the P2C9000 code. I have the SXTH fix and can still get the code if I go over 4k rpms and boost. I also tried the MST V2 cel fix and that also did not fit it. The SXTH one seems to keep the code away the longest between code setting. So far there is no Toyota software update for the 25 model year, probably not for a year logistically. Also ECU Tek is not supported for the 25 model year yet either.

For your code it seems more likely the MAF is dirty. Or the tube that the MAF goes into now that it is new is the problem. Could be the MAF is installed facing backwards or more likely the "clocked" location of the MAF is wrong.

I ended up fixing it by leaving the battery disconnected overnight. Now its just throwing p2c90 which is still annoying as they have advertised the forge to not have any CEL. They must not have R&D with the 25 ECU yet.

Just a interesting observation. Getting p2c90 with the forge intake seems pretty rare as it doesn't mess with any of the pcv hoses.

I wonder why that is outside of the 25s being tuned differently than the previous MYs. The forge intake didn't have any issues with 23/24 MY on stock tunes unlike most other intakes.
