Reservations Open for 2023 Acura TLX Type S PMC Edition
The limited-production version of Acura’s sports sedan comes with three of the NSX’s paint colors and adds carbon-fiber trim.
Pretty good point Air. I’m still baffled why they don’t take this car, the Integra, or give it a new name and make an Acura badged CTR with their wonderful SH-AWD system. Throw in one of their outstanding 6MT’s in it (best feel out there IMO) and wow that would be a great car.IMO this has to be one of Honda's biggest bruh moments they've ever done.
That would be sick, but I don't even remember the last time Honda attempt to make a manual transmission production car with AWD. It's weird to me, they have the technology but the use their SH-AWD on their CUVs and on an underpowered and overweight sedan.Pretty good point Air. Then I imagine Honda doing a compact hatch with the CTR engine, SH-AWD, and their slick transmission and wonder why!!!!! Is what it is. Honda sure can make a great hatch if they want to. I’ve owned them. Own their SH-AWD now, so mix and match their engines, transmissions, and all wheel drive system and they could kill it. But we keep getting stuff like this. SMH
Well...it was also on the "beak" generation TL, which could also be looked at as overweight and underpowered (3.7 V6 though...)That would be sick, but I don't even remember the last time Honda attempt to make a manual transmission production car with AWD. I hear a lot of people saying this but can the manual transmission even be made to mount to the SH-AWD system?Pretty good point Air. There was manual SH-FWD but I don’t think there has ever been a manual SH-AWD.I hear a lot of people saying this but can the manual transmission even be made to mount to the SH-AWD system?
granted I’ve never even driven a car with SH-AWD but wouldn’t it always end up being a front biased system due to the K20 being designed to accept a transaxle
