I’ve done every bit of work to this truck, save the roof rack since it involves drilling (forget that), but I did help!

Looks so good, nice work! Brave of you to have the roof drilled lol that shit scares me. How do you like the Katzkins? I really wish the FJ came with leather seats.
Yeah I let the guys that designed the rack do the drilling, and I looked away lol

I’ve been really happy with the katzkins, and they weren’t all that hard to put on, just tedious. With a big dog and a 7 year old, seats that wipe off have been fantastic

Understandable lol. I'll have to check them out! Our husky mix basically owns the FJ so leather is super appealing.

God, I love that colour. Behind Cement Gray, it's one of my favourite colours they've done. Looks good!

Let me know if you need me to get you my katzkins guy’s info. He did me right on price, that’s for sure. 👍

I was so unsure when I ordered it, but once I saw the truck in person I was sold 😍

It’s on the “maybe one day” list lol
That's only if you want a true "go anywhere" truck.😉
Already looking real good my friend.👍👍
I would have bought a Toyota Helix diesel pickup truck, if they sold them in North America.
I really like diesel that's why I have a TDI Sport Wagon, amazing mileage and lots of torque.

I just don’t know if a water over the hood scenario is part of the “anywhere” I want to take it 😂

I would take a diesel hilux any day, it’s a damn shame they never made it here.

@Squatting Pigeon just curious if you are considering the new tundra at all? seems tempting since it's practical and almost same mpg average as the GRC lol
Nah, I’ve driven a couple and am just not impressed. A coworker of mine in Houston bought one and tosses me the keys every time he’s in town. You have to put it sport mode for it to start feeling like the 5.7, and then it starts drinking gas like the 5.7 too 😂

I’m not much of a fan of the interior either, and driving position is super weird to me. Different strokes for different folks, it’s just not for me.
The new 4Runner is dropping late next year. I think that will be my next offroad build 👀
